Great record. wears it's influences proudly ..but retains a sliver of identity that is uniquely British and has a northern feel to it..I think that these geographic musical vignettes are realy evocotive of northern Newtown Uber estates and satellite communities..I hope this translates to a wider audience for him...he deserves the attention. give him his due .NOW .

A phenomenal companion album to a book I have never read. Thanks to this, I will remedy this soon. The devil rides out has the kind of punchy synth that those familiar with late 90s Final Fantasy games will enjoy. The Secret Art bears a striking resemblence in parts to a Final Fantasy 9 track, The Lifa Tree. Takes me back.
